Homepage Featured Entry won’t show

In an early build of ExpressionEngine 2 (Build 20100720) there was a bug that incorrectly saved the date of the entry, usually posting it hours in the future. If you run into a problem while working in Episode 1 of the screencasts when trying to display the Homepage Featured new article, this may be why. After assigning the entry a status and re-saving it, the date is changed and the entry won’t show because it’s in the future.
